Welcome to St. James Primary School.

It is a privilege to serve as the Executive Headteacher of such a vibrant, caring and ambitious school community. Every day, I have the pleasure of seeing our pupils learn, grow and flourish, and I am incredibly proud of all that we achieve together. Our school is a place where children are known, valued and encouraged to be the very best versions of themselves.

We have high expectations for every child and work hard to create a culture where effort, perseverance and achievement are celebrated. Through high-quality teaching, a rich and engaging curriculum, and personalised support when needed, we aim to help every learner reach their full potential.

Alongside academic success, we place great importance on wellbeing. We recognise that children learn best when they feel safe, happy and supported. Our nurturing approach, strong pastoral care and commitment to emotional health ensure that pupils are equipped not only to succeed in school but also to develop resilience, confidence and positive relationships that will serve them throughout their lives.
