Nursery / Year 1 staff

Nursery starts at 8.55 Please bring your children to the school gate by Van Community Centre and walk them to the Nursery yard once the gate is opened.

The gate is locked at 9.00 ,so it is very important to arrive in school on time. As we try to develop independence, please allow your child to walk into school on their own (we will support if necessary).

Nursery finishes at 11.30 Please collect your Nursery child from outside the Nursery classroom.

Reception finishes at 3.15, please collect your Reception child from the main Foundation Phase yard.

Please send your child to school in their uniform along with appropriate footwear and additional clothing for the wonderful Welsh weather (as well as spare clothes in case of accidents).

Below is a list of the topics we will be covering throughout the year.  Each term I will send out a detailed newsletter about the term's learning, which will include suggestions on how you can support your child in their learning.

We will be sharing updates and images of your child's learning on Seesaw.

Seesaw is safe and secure, we will only post photographs relating to your child on to their Seesaw journal.

Play is very important to us in Reception and Nursery, it is how we learn. Seesaw is where you will be able to see the fun and our learning each day.

You and your child are welcome to like, leave a comment or a voice message about any photographs posted to their Seesaw Journal. You can also record anything that have done at home too by uploading photographs and videos.

You will be given your child's Seesaw login at the start of the autumn term.

Please ask a member of staff if you need another copy of their login information.
