Science and Technology
Science and technology is all about helping children understand the world around them. It brings together subjects like biology, chemistry, physics, computer science and design technology to build knowledge and spark curiosity.
Throughout history, discoveries and inventions in these areas have shaped the way we live - changing our homes, our jobs, and even our culture. That's why Science and Technology will always play an important role in the opportunities your child experiences and the choices they make in life.
In today's world, it's not enough for children to simply 'do' science experiments or use technology. With so much information available at their fingertips, they need the skills to think critically, question what they see, and make informed decisions. We want our learners to think carefully and answer questions such as; "We can do it... but is it the right thing to do? Is this a good choice? We can try it... but will it help or harm?"
By developing these skills, learners grow into throughtful, responsible citizens who can use science and technology to make a positive difference in their own lives and in society.
