Dear Parent/Guardian/Carer,
We have had another very busy and successful week at school. Reading assessment are taking place and learners are progressing well. We have shared the improvements in our classroom environments with our governors and network school. The St Martins School cluster will visit this week to see our amazing literacy work.
As part of our ongoing Family and Community Engagement commitment we will be hosting a ‘Stay and Play’ session for all classes across the school again this term. This is an opportunity for all parents/guardians/carers to come and spend time with their child and partake in Easter activities alongside the class teacher. You can watch the teacher demonstrating teaching either maths or reading and listen to an Easter song. These will take place the week commencing 18th March 2024. There will also be an attendance presentation for you all to celebrate with the children.
Below I have inserted a timetable for each class and where they will be held.
Please arrive in school via the main reception area in time for the relevant session where you will be shown to your child’s class or to the hall. Last term’s sessions were a fantastic success with 81% of all parents attending ad supporting the sessions.

Please make every effort to ensure your child attends school every day. Being in school every day supports the progress they make.
If you have any concerns about your child, please contact the school directly where we can offer guidance and support around school procedures.
Once again, thank you for your ongoing support to the school. We have much to celebrate and look forward to welcoming you in to school.
