Also, I am hoping to run an Urdd club, at lunch times, for those who would like to take part in The 2016 Eisteddfod. ( opportunities will be given not only for recitation, that has been on offer the past 2 years but for creative/street/hip hop dance routines/Welsh drama and art)

In order for you to take part in the Urdd Sporting events (whereby there are many during the year) you will have to become a member of the Urdd and the same will apply to the other events. A one off payment of £6 or less(if I can organise funding) will allow you all year around access to all Urdd events.

I will also be continuing with the 'Criw Cymraeg' (Welsh Committee) and will be on the look out for individuals to help me to support and encourage other children and all staff to speak Welsh every day.

Calling all parents and children.

The expectation of learning the Welsh language is HUGE for our children and in order to help our children reach their full potential and to develop their confidence it would help if parents were able to support them. I am offering one session a week, after school (day and time to be confirmed in Autumn Term) to teach you the language patterns that your children use in class. This will help us to raise the profile of Welsh in our school
