Writing task - Rainbows!
Rainbows are a symbol of peace and hope (remember the Bible story about Noah's Ark?) because they appear when the sun comes out after heavy rain. They remind us that the sun WILL always appear again.
During the Coronavirus pandemic, they have been adopted as a symbol of hope and positivity. The pandemic will end, we will get through it! We have included a rainbow in the HUB symbols, put them in our windows, painted them on the pavement and we even have one on our school fence.
Rainbows are made up of seven colours - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet.
Your task is to write a RHYME to help you remember the colours. Write it like an acrostic:
